ENROLLING NEW STUDENTS TO BUSD:
To attend BUSD, a new student who meets age, residency and immunization requirements must first be enrolled. Enrollment should not be confused with Registration. Enrollment is for new students. To enroll your child(ren), please do the following:
- Gather documentation verifying and meeting age, residency and immunization requirements for each child to be enrolled. Click here to see list of required verification documents .
- Download, print and fill out a BUSD Enrollment Form for each child.
- Call the Turner Office Manager at (707) 747-8390 to make an appointment to verify documents and complete enrollment. If you are moving to Benicia over the summer contact our school office when we reopen on August 6th.
INFOSNAP REGISTRATION CODES:
The INFOSNAP online registration access codes will be e-mailed to all enrolled families at the start of summer. Please confirm your email address with the school office as soon as possible. Follow the instructions that come with your INFOSNAP code to complete the online portion of registration.
BACK-TO-SCHOOL REGISTRATION:
Once your child is enrolled with BUSD you will need to complete the registration process. Matthew Turner's Registration Fair will be held August 14th. Be sure to complete the online registration portion in advance and bring your print-outs to the Registration Fair. Arrival times are determined by Last Name:
A-G 2:00-3:00 PM
H-M 3:00-4:00 PM
N-S 4:00-5:00 PM
T-Z 5:00-6:00 PM
Doors will close promptly at 5:45 PM. If you are unable to attend at your designated time, any last name may attend the 5:00 PM session.
If you cannot attend the Back-to-School-Registration because you will be out of town, please call the office at 747-8390. If you do not contact the office we will assume you have moved and will not be attending MTES. On the first day of school, parents who did not attend Back-to-School Registration should report directly to the MP room with their child(ren) promptly at 8:00 AM with online paperwork completed.
OPEN ENROLLMENT TRANSFER REQUESTS:
Open Enrollment Requests are for parents wishing to move their student from their residence elementary school to a different school site. Click here to download the Open Enrollment Form. Fill out and drop off at any elementary school site during the open enrollment period. This period is now closed for the 2012-13 school year. Check back in January for information on the following year's open enrollment periods.
